Saint Louis University School of Medicine (SLUSOM) is a private, American Medical School within Saint Louis University. Located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, Saint Louis University School of Medicine was established in 1836 offers professional medical education for a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Additionally, the medical school offers MD/PhD, MD/MPH, MD/Masters, and MD/MBA dual degree programs and has the distinction of awarding the first M.D. degree west of the Mississippi River. Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in southern Russia. Emperor Nicholas II founded the Saratov State Medical University in 1909 as Saratov State University with only Medical Faculty, later in 1930 divided into Saratov State University and Saratov Medical Institute. In 1993 Saratov Medical Institute transformed into Saratov State Medical University. In 2009 Saratov State Medical University was named after First Rector V.I. Razumovsky. During its existence the Saratov State Medical University has become one of the largest medical school in Russia. Since the foundation, the Saratov State Medical University has followed the classical system of medical education, including a strong theoretical basis in various fields. Every year more than 600 students come to Saratov State Medical University, and the total number of students are 5000.  Currently, in Saratov State Medical University  teaching is conducted in 75 departments by 798 skilled doctors, professors and teachers.
