Syktyvkar State University named after Pitirim Sorokin  is a public university in the city of Syktyvkar, the capital of the Komi Republic (Russia). The National Research University “Belgorod State University” (BelSU) is one of the oldest universities in Belgorod, Russia. On September 26, 1876 in the district town of Belgorod, the Teacher’s Training Institute – the ninth of that kind in Russia – was founded by the order of the Russian Ministry of Public Education. On June 4, 1919 Belgorod Teacher’s Training Institute was reorganized into Belgorod Pedagogical Institute by the order of the People’s Commissariat for Education of the RSFSR, and in 1920 it was reorganized into Belgorod Institute of Public Education. In 1922 Belgorod Institute of Public Education was reorganized into Belgorod Practical Institute of Public Education, which was reordered into the Pedagogical Secondary School in September, 1923. Chuvash State University is a Russian State Classical University in the city of Cheboksary in Chuvash Republic of Russian Federation. The history of the Tver State Medical Academy opens up in 1902 when the courses for dental students were arranged. In 1936 the Leningrad Dental Institute was founded. The Tyumen State Medical Academy was established in 1963 as the Tyumen State Medical Institute. A prerequisite for setting up the medical institution was intensive development of Tyumen region in the 1960s, discovering large oil and gas fields. Infrastructure was forming; crowds of new people were arriving to work, the first movers of the Tyumen North. Population growth gave rise to the demand in setting up a medical higher education establishment in Tyumen as well as development o f medical science. Rotation shifts and expeditions were the only possible ways of work under“northern conditions”. 1960s-1980s Tyumen medical scientists participated in over 20 expeditions together with geologists, oil and gas workers. The Laboratory of Medical and Biological Issues and Occupational Physiology was established and successfully operated at the Tyumen Medical Institute. Unique were the publications on chronomedicine and chronobiology of the scientist and teacher of the Tyumen State Medical Institute Gennadiy Gubin. In 1970s he managed to assemble the like-minded group and establish the school of sciences. The scientists were studying the problems of health protection of people living and working in extreme conditions of oil and gas recovery areas. In 1995 the Tyumen State Medical Academy obtained the status of the Academy. In 2013 the Tyumen State Medical Academy celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Nearly 30 thousand specialists, namely doctors, pharmacists, managers for the healthcare system of Tyumen region and other areas have been trained over this period. At present there are five faculties at the Tyumen State Medical Academy as follows: the General Medicine Faculty, Pediatric Faculty, Pharmaceutical Faculty,Stomatological Faculty and Nursing Faculty. A bronze statue, 2.5 meters high, represents a generalized character of the XIXth century doctor with a medical kitbag, who races to rescue to patients (the sculptor is the member of the Union of Russian Artists, V. Sharapov). The monument has been totally built at the expense of donations. Student Union offers help and activities in different fields. One branch of the Student Union is Sport club, whose services members of the Student Union can use. Members get tickets to movies on a lower price. Further, every year excursions both in Russia and in foreign countries are organized. And at last, but not least, Student Union offers service, which is very important for the students finishing their studies and planning their future careers. Two rooms have common shower and toilet. Rooms are shared with other students of same gender, but in the same block there can be students of opposite gender as neighbors. In the student dormitory no. 1 there are common kitchens and laundries, and there are arranged common room in the first and third dormitories.
