It was conducted in 10 languages at 1,921 Exam Centres in 103 cities. Result Details: Today (23 June 2017) CBSE has declared the result for NEET – UG 2017, Click Here to check result What Next: Based on result, make your next move. Discuss with parents about budget for medical education and available opportunities. If your NEET Score or Academics or Budget does not allow for private college, accept it and make sure you do not drop/waste a year. What should we do, if we should not drop ? Here are the priority wise options suggest by AB Sir (Founder of www.mbbsneet.com) Call/Whats app 9001099110 Option 1: If you are getting admission in India through NEET Counseling & Admission Process (Any of the Government [subject to merit] or Private [subject to merit & budget] College), if yes, Grab it Immediately, Secure your seat as per the norms. Option 2: Being doctor is more important, if you are not getting admission in India, apply for MBBS Abroad. Option 3: If your budget is below 15 Lakh (for next 5 years, to be paid in installments) or if your parents are not interested in sending you for MBBS Abroad, opt for other courses like BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BDS or Nursing, Pharmacy, BSc but Do not drop. Because budget will remain as it is, every year fees will increase. Do Not Drop, Know Why: Dropping year will neither increase your budget nor decrease the competition. In 2017 Exam almost 11.38 Lakhs students appeared for 55000 to 57000 seats. Based on the figures every year almost 95% to 96% students fail to secure seat for MBBS in India (Including Govt. and Private), if we do not consider seats of private medical colleges (due to high budget is not in reach of each and every parents) this figure cross 97% to 98% students failing to secure seat in India. So scenario of competition and cost will not change if you drop, No one can guarantee for admission, But you will surely loose 1 important year of your career, if you drop your admission will be delayed by 1 year that means extra cost of 1 year’s coaching + living cost (Approx Loss of 2 Lakh) and loss of doctor’s salary (Approx Loss of 4 Lakh) for 1 year, generally fees also changes every year means loss of 50k, 100k or 150k (equal to 1.5 lakh) rupees for the duration of course (4.5/5/6 years) (Approx Loss of 5 Lakh), means just by dropping you lost 10 lakh and 1 important year or your life and experience. Real Information About MCI Screening Test (Also known as FMGE/Exit Test/NEXT): This exam in conducted by NBE (National Board of Examination), Students need to score only 50% to clear this exam, students also need to understand that this exam is not the competitive exam, no merit will be prepared, no rank system is there, anyone who score above 50% will get the license to practice. This exam is conducted twice in a year and Bangladesh is considered as most preferred option based on the results. It is expected that Exit exam/MCI Screening Test/FMGE will be applicable for all medical graduates completing MBBS from India or Abroad. Government has also declared the name of this exam will be NEXT (National Exit Test).

(Click Here) More Details About MBBS in India (New), Know About Medical Colleges in India, NEET CBSE 2017, New Rules & Important Articles More Details About MBBS Abroad (New), Know About Various Countries, How to Select Best Option, Admission Process, Total Cost & Other Details More Details About MBBS in China (New), Best Universities, Lowest Package, Best Infrastructure, 5 Year’s Course More Details About MBBS from Bangladesh (New), Know Why Bangladesh is Best Choice for Indian Students, If they are eligible, Lowest Package, 5 Year’s Course ——————————————– Now, single entrance test NEET must for all Ayush courses BENGALURU: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) will now apply to Ayush courses as well. From the coming academic year, students will have to write the single entrance test for admissions in the undergraduate Ayush (Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy) courses across the nation. Also, there will be no NRI or management quota in Ayush courses anymore and all the seats will be filled up by the state government considering only NEET rankings. Courses under Ayush include Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga and Naturopathy In Karnataka, there are at least 76 colleges offering Ayush courses, of which five are government, five private aided and the rest are private unaided colleges. The total number of seats available under these courses is 3,890, of which 700 are government quota seats. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), which took the decisions, has asked the state governments to comply with the Ayush ministry’s decision. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) held a preliminary meeting with state Ayush department officials on Friday. As per the decision, application process for Ayush courses, which is currently on, will have to be stopped. The letter sent by the CCIM reads: “In order to bring meritorious students to the Ayush system of medicine in the country through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), a decision has been taken that the entrance exams being conducted by the private associations be stopped from the academic session 2017-18 and all UG seats be filled by considering the merit list of NEET.” The Union AYUSH ministry took the decision to bring AYUSH courses under the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) too, after considering the request/proposals submitted by various states, including Karnataka. In December 2016, Union ministry had sent a communication to all the state AYUSH departments seeking an opinion about bringing AYUSH under NEET. The Karnataka AYUSH department said the state has no objection to it. The removal of quotas has been welcomed too. According to KEA officials, colleges offering AYUSH courses used to fill up seats on their own despite government quota. “There are several instances where AYUSH colleges filled 80% of seats and just gave 20% to the government. This decision will put an end to all such irregularities,” a senior official said. Predictably, the colleges are unhappy. A management representative of a college which offers AYUSH courses told Express, “When NRI and management quotas for medical and dental courses are being allowed, why are we being barred? Let them conduct entrance test and give rankings. … Read more

Facts About MBBS in India

time to move on

MBBS in India, Almost everyone is interested in that, but less seats and more number of Medical Aspirants has made it rare to get admission in India. If we talk about numbers almost 62000 to 64000 seats are available for 2016 session and for these seats almost 9 Lakh to 10 Lakh students has appeared in various Medical Entrance Exams (AIPMT/NEET-UG/State Exams/University Specific Exams). Facts and figures mentioned above are good enough to justify the difference between demand and supply. Most prestigious profession, High earning job, Coaching Factors (motivating students to drop again and again) has kept number of medical aspirants waiting for years to get admission in MBBS. But each students and parents must understand that, if you don’t get admission in 1-2 years you must move on, you must look forward for alternate options. These alternate options are mentioned below Option 1 – If you are interested only in MBBS, you must go abroad for MBBS Option 2 – if you do not want to go abroad, get admission in BAMS/BHMS/BDS Option 3 – if you do not prefer/get options mentioned above, you must get admission in nursing or apply for some other job oriented course. Dropping again and again will only increase frustration among students and their parents, this will also waste your valuable time and money. Why MBBS Abroad There is no rocket science or special secret, simply you are interested in MBBS but you are not getting admission in India, is the biggest reason for MBBS Abroad. You have got admission in private college of India, but due to high fees (50 to 80 Lakhs even after getting admission through merit) could not afford to study in India, is the second biggest reason to go for MBBS Abroad. MCI Screening Test factor – as per the new rules (published in all leading news paper, but official confirmation is pending), all medical graduates (those who have completed MBBS in India or Foreign Universities), will have to appear for NEET-PG (will be on the pattern of FMGE [foreign medical graduate examination]/MCI Screening Test conducted by NBE). This was one of the biggest threat for many parents, but now all medical graduates will be on equal level so no worries about MCI Screening Test, now it is almost a part of medical education and licensing process. Know about MCI Screening Test – many of the students and parents are not aware about MCI Screening Test and process related to the results, so they feels it is very tough and could not be cleared in years. Such things are only rumours and miscommunication by various people including various coaching institutes. MCI Screening Test/FMGE is conducted by NBE twice in a year, candidates need to score only 50% from 2 papers and there is no competition, no merit no ranks, everyone who gets above 50% will get licence to practice in India. But yes, it is an exam same as other exams so it is bound to be tough, because this exam is based on what you have studied in your MBBS/MD will be covered in 1 exam only. This process is mandatory for most of the developed countries, for India it is also expected to be compulsory (NEET-PG), as per all leading news papers from December 2016 or early 2017 NEET-PG will be compulsory for all medical graduates (for Indian Medical Graduates and Foreign Medical Graduates Both). Now NEET candidates only have 3 attempts, age cap introduced

You now have to be at least 17 and not over 25 years old to give the NEET paper. The National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test (NEET) has introduced limits to the number of times aspirants can attempt the paper and the age of the candidates. Now, candidates can only try their hand at the paper three times and cannot be older than 25 years (30 years for reserved category), a surprising turn to a national examination that had no limit on the number of attempts and age till date. This has been done to bring down the number of older candidates competing with 17-year-old candidates (the minimum age limit), and to prevent fraud and cheating. According to data collected from the Maharashtra directorate of medical education and research (DMER), the oldest candidate was 38-years-old and at least another 100 aspirants were in their early 30s, TOI reports. This year, candidates have been eagerly waiting for the notification of NEET 2017 but it has been delayed over a long time. Even the official website of NEET is not available as it is under construction. In 2016, the NEET examination replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) which used to take place every year in the month of May. It has been made mandatory for admissions in all-India medical/ dental colleges. This is a good decision,” says Dr Pravin Shingare, director of DMER. “There are some students who keep taking the test, and when they don’t make the cut, join a BSc college and keep taking the medical entrance test.” Source: indianexpress.com Related Links Click Here to Like/Join/Share with Friends Click Here for MBBS Abroad (If you don’t get admission in India) #MBBSAbroad, #MBBSAdmissionAbroad,  #BestCountryforMBBSAbroad, #LowestPackageforMBBSAbroad Click Here for MBBS from Bangladesh (Weather, Culture, Syllabus, Language similar to India, Best Screening Test Result) #MBBSinBangladesh, #MBBSfromBangladesh, #BestCountryforMBBSAbroad, #LowestPackageforMBBSAbroad Click Here for MBBS from China (World’s Best Infrastructure, Low Cost of Education, Big Hospitals lead to better clinical exposure) #MBBSinChina, #MBBSfromChina, #BestCountryforMBBSAbroad, #LowestPackageforMBBSAbroad Click Here to Register for FREE Counseling (Based on 12th Passing Year, %age & Budget)

NEET 2017: New conditions spark another debate

mbbs related debate

Medical aspirants will now be allowed a maximum of three attempts to clear the entrance test, that too till the age of 25. A year after its stormy debut, NEET has once again sparked a debate among medical aspirants and parents. This time it is the introduction of a cap on the number of attempts and the upper age limit. The University Grants Commission last week said that students would be allowed to take the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) only thrice, that too until the age of 25. No such conditions existed earlier. While the government is yet to bring out a notification on the new changes, the decision has evoked mixed reactions. “The age criterion is a positive step but why discriminate between reserved and open category [The age limit for the reserved category is 30],” said Sudha Shenoy, a member of Mission 2017, a forum comprising parents of NEET aspirants. A student is eligible for NEET at 17, after Class XII and if that student makes continuous attempts, he or she would become ineligible for test after 20. This, according to Shenoy, is unreasonable as the students have eight years between 17 and 25. “Five attempts per candidate is a reasonable figure,” she said. Some parents say students continue to take the entrance test to secure a seat in a government-run medical college where fees are much lower. “Exorbitant fees charged by private medical colleges and deemed universities deter us from opting for them as we cannot cough up fees that run into lakhs,” said a student who is preparing for NEET. Those who could not get admission last year are under tremendous pressure to make it through this time, said Mahendra Choudhari, whose daughter is preparing for a second attempt. He said his daughter could not secure admission last year because of the chaos that ensued after the Supreme Court made NEET mandatory for all institutes in the country. Move will curb fraud, cheating But some parents, officials and people from the field of education feel the cap on attempts and age will bring down cases of fraud and cheating. “It is definitely a step in the right direction as we cannot have 30-year-olds writing NEET,” said Dr Purvi Shah whose daughter will take NEET for the first time this year. “The move will encourage students to crack the exam in one single attempt. It will help restrain them [candidates] from spoiling the crucial years of their life and instead opt for an alternative career early,” said Aakash Chaudhry, director of Aakash Educational Services, which runs a chain of coaching classes. “It will also help vacate the number of seats for other students who have been preparing for it and will be attempting NEET for the first time to pursue a career in medicine,” he said. This year, nearly 4 lakh students are expected to take NEET, which will be held on May 7. MBBS students to protest against NEXT exam tomorrow

neet and next

MBBS students from across the state will protest on Wednesday opposing to the proposed National Exit Test (NEXT). The students will be joined by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). NEXT is part of the proposal mooted by the Union Health Ministry as part of the amendments to be introduced in the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act. According to the proposal, students are mandated to clear NEXT to obtain license to practice. Students believe that taking an entrance exam in addition to their MBBS exams would be taxing. Dr Manoop Kumaraswamy, member, Young Doctors’ Association, IMA said, “What is the necessity for an exam when we are already preparing for NEET PG? Students will have to clear yet another exam. Instead, the government can just refine the existing system. Besides, we are told that even Ayush doctors clearing this exam will be granted permission to prescribe allopathy medicines after a bridge course.” Dr Rajashekara Bellary, president, IMA Karnataka said, “Those who have cleared MBBS are expected to take the exam. What is the use of having studied the course for five-and-a-half years then? It is an unnecessary burden on students. Students will also lose faith in the system of study then.” In a memorandum, the students have said, “The examinations are conducted by universities which are recognised by University Grants Commission and MBBS examination is therefore rightfully a qualifying examination for the degree of Modern Medicine. Therefore, introducing NEXT as a qualifying examination is unnecessary and makes the university examination redundant.” They also say that converting a competitive examination into both a qualifying examination and competitive examination for post graduation is not in the students’ interest as the structure and objective of a qualifying examination for admission to post graduation is different from a qualifying examination that is meant for assessing the minimum qualification required to receive the degree.
