Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) launched its own constituent MBBS program in August 2001. Candidates seeking MBBS admission in Nepal Medical College i.e. Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences must have completed 10+2 years of education or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and not less than 50% of marks in each subject of Physics, Chemistry and, Biology (PCB). KUSMS is associated with Dhulikhel hospital, which is the university hospital for all the medical programs run under the collaboration with Kathmandu University. With around 300-beds, this hospital provides health services to the people.
